Accommodation & Meals
Each of our boarding houses is comfortable, accommodating between 35 and 50 students in a mixture of single, twin, triple, quad and multi-bedded rooms with 5 to 8 beds.
Living on campus means our students don’t have to travel long distances from their accommodation to lessons and also allows them to have their meals together in our on-campus dining hall.
The houses are a mixture of traditional and modern buildings set in green spaces.
Boys and girls are accommodated in different areas of each house but have shared common rooms. Each house is unique and offers a variety of bedroom styles, from one to eight beds per room.
Bathroom, shower and toilet facilities are shared, on an average ratio of 1:6. We provide sheets, which are changed once a week, and towels, which are changed twice a week. Each house has a laundry room as well as a common room and outdoor leisure areas.
Meals served in our large, bright, dining hall are prepared daily by Fettes College staff with a good choice of hot food, fresh fruit and salads served every day and vegetarian options always available.
Packed lunches are provided for our exciting weekend trips. We even offer snacks during the first lesson break to power students through their mornings, and evening snacks before bed.
