CANCELLATION POLICY
All cancellations must be sent to FCLC by email. If a client cancels a booking, the following
charges will apply.
- If cancelled more than 90 days before arrival: FCLC will refund the full amount
paid less the non-refundable registration fee. - If cancelled 60 to 90 days (2 to 3 months) before arrival: 50% of the total price must be paid.
- If cancelled 30 to 59 days (1 to 2 months) before arrival: 75% of the total price must be paid.
- If cancelled less than 30 days (1 month) before arrival: 100% of the total price must be paid.
- If you have paid more than the amounts above, FCLC will refund the remaining amount.
- If a client cancels because of illness or travel restrictions in their home country, normal cancellation charges apply. This is why it is very important that students have travel insurance to cover these situations.
Visa Refusal Policy
If a student’s visa is refused, you must tell FCLC in writing as soon as you know. You must also send a copy of the visa refusal letter. In this case, FCLC will keep the registration fee, but we will return any other money you have paid. No refund will be given if you tell us about the visa refusal less than 30 days before the student’s arrival.
Cancellations by FCLC
FCLC has the right to cancel a booking and keep any money already paid if:
- The client does not follow the terms and conditions.
- The client makes significant changes to the booking (such as number of people, dates or type of accommodation).
- The client or FCLC becomes bankrupt (cannot pay debts).
FCLC may also cancel a booking if:
- The UK or Scottish government tells us to cancel the programme.
- The buildings, facilities, or grounds become damaged, unsafe, closed, or impossible to repair.
- If FCLC cancels a booking for one of these reasons, we will give a full refund less the non-refundable registration fee.
Refunds
FCLC will refund any money within four weeks after you give us your bank details and a signed letter saying that we can pay the money into that account.
