All FCLC students stay in on-campus boarding houses used throughout the year by Fettes College students. The houses are a mix of several built when the college was founded more than 150 years ago, a few built in the early 1900s, one built in the 1960s and one built in the 2010s. Each house is unique and will accommodate around 45 students and FCLC staff, and while some houses are older than others, they are all comfortable and modern inside.
We feel that the boarding aspect of our programme is integral to its success, but our students spend very little time in the houses, only going there to sleep, do their homework and have social time with snacks in the evenings. The rest of their busy days are spent in challenging classes, fun activities and interesting excursions with new friends from around the world.
